Dr. Mandy Manna has been named a 2026 Integrity Icon by The Philadelphia Citizen, a recognition that celebrates public servants who lead with honesty, dedication, and a deep commitment to their communities.
The Integrity Icon program shines a light on the people who make government and public institutions work — those who show up every day to serve students, families, and neighbors with integrity. As Farm Administrator at Fox Chase Farm, Dr. Manna has built one of the most innovative urban agricultural education programs in the country, serving 62,000+ student visits across 60 Philadelphia schools each year.
The honor reflects more than a decade of work transforming Fox Chase Farm into a district-wide hub for hands-on learning, workforce development, and community connection — and a model for what agricultural education can look like in a major American city.
